The shopping cart is the program that displays your products and carries out your e-commerce transactions. The QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart is especially designed for quilt shops and other craft businesses.

Low Cost - No monthly or per product fees: The QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart is economical because you do not have ongoing monthly expenses for the shopping cart. Your only ongoing expense is the monthly fee you pay for web hosting for your web site. 

Safe - Your own database: One of the more time consuming aspects of operating an online shop is adding your products to the shopping cart. With the QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart the database belongs to you, giving you a level of control over your web site that comes only with ownership.

Easy to use: The QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart allows you to display over a thousand products. The products are all stored in a database and you can easily add, change, and remove products on a private, password protected area of your website.

Especially designed for quilt businesses: The QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart has special options for displaying fabric. Most shopping carts allow you to put each fabric into just one category. Our shopping cart allows you to categorize each fabric in many different categories. You don't have to decide whether to categorize a fabric by its color, designer, manufacturer, theme, or fiber type. You can categorize each of your fabrics in all these ways (and more), making it easy for your customers to find exactly the fabrics they favor. In addition, our shopping cart's initial product display is big enough that your customers will be able to quickly pick out the products they want without having to constantly click for an enlargement. (Of course, the cart does also include larger photos of each product.) Our shopping cart comes with a built in fabric calculator for use by your customers. In addition, the cart handles sales of fabric in eighth, quarter, third, and half yard amounts with ease.

Free support for the shopping cart: QuiltProfessionals provides telephone and email support for our shopping cart during regular business hours. Our support is expert, available, and friendly. We also provide a user's manual for the shopping cart. Support is free, provided you use our recommended web host.

Installation: QuiltProfessionals installs the shopping cart on your web site. There are no additional installation fees,  provided you use our recommended web host.

Secure shopping cart: The QuiltProfessionals Shopping Cart provides completely secure online shopping when used with a secure socket layer. If you are using our web hosting services, you will have the use of a secure socket layer for no charge beyond the basic web hosting fee. Alternatively, you can purchase your own secure certificate from a company such as Thawte or Verisign. We will set your shopping cart up to work with the secure socket layer as part of our installation service. If you process credit cards yourself, the credit card numbers are fully encrypted with a state of the art encryption schema before being stored in your database.

Credit card processing: You may want to consider processing credit cards in your own shop initially, as this is the most cost effective alternative when you first open your online store. Processing the credit cards online is the most secure option, however, as it removes the need to store the encrypted credit card information in your database. We will connect your shopping cart to PayPal for no additional charge.
